In My Mailbox 16

"In My Mailbox" is a weekly post hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren about what new books we got in the mail (or library or whatever) this week.

From the Library:

Monster of Men by Patrick Ness
The Unidentified by Rae Mariz (whoops posted this last week too)
The Piper's Son by Melina Marchetta
Saving Francesca by Melina Marchetta
White Cat by Holly Black

Soooo I need some help. Here's my bookshelf:

Totally full, right? So I got another bookshelf entirely devoted to books I have yet to read. But I need help -- any thoughts/recommendations on which should move to the top of my list? And, yes, I have read Hunger Games ... that's just in there because I need to reread it for book club this month.

Thanks in advance for sharing your opinion!

  1. Eve, Shut Out, and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies are the first ones I'd read. :) Oooh, and Legend and Ashes, just saw those scrolling through a second time.

  2. Scorpio Races is *sings* faaabuloussss! I say go for that first, particularly if you're already a fan of Maggie S. It's fantastical.

  5. I'm so jealous you have The Name of the Star, Bunheads, and The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight! I would choose one of those first ;)

  6. I haven't read most of those but I did recently read all the Sarah Dessen's, so What Happened to Goodbye is good, plus it's a pretty quick read. Maybe The Scorpio Races too, just because it's Maggie Stiefvater.

  7. A Need So Beautiful and Strings Attached are both at the top of my list -- so those would get my vote!

  18. I am so excited to read The Piper's Son! My local library isn't on the ball like yours though and has yet to purchase any Melina Marchetta. So sad. Whenever you're able to decide what to read first out of all the fabulous ones you have: happy reading! :)
