In My Mailbox 36

"In My Mailbox" is a weekly post hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren about what new books we got in the mail (or library or whatever) this week.

On Monday, I went to Anderson's Bookshop in Naperville with Tara to meet Marissa Meyer (Cinder) and Megan Miranda (Fracture), whose books I read and looooooved.

I purchased hardcover versions of both books (I'd read them as eBooks or ARCs before) and had them signed for my collection.

Plus, Marissa gave me this cute Cinder hand mirror for my purse. Love it.

Megan gave me a little something something too -- this Fracture shirt to give away to one of you! A lucky winner who fills out the form at the end of this post will win my SIGNED ARC of Fracture plus this size L t-shirt. Fun! Thanks, Megan!

A few more goodies from my week...

This Is Not a Test by Courtney Summers and Partials by Dan Wells were my NetGalley scores this week. Thanks NetGalley, St. Martin's Press and Harper!

Plus, a finished hardcover version of The Butterfly Clues by Kate Ellison and an ARC for Trafficked by Kim Purcell came in the mail as surprises from Egmont and Penguin. Thank you so much!

Happy reading to all...be sure to check out the giveaway below.

  10. Yay for meeting awesome authors! And at first I thought that was a teensy tiny version of Cinder. My heart almost exploded.

But then I read what Marissa wrote in your signed copy of Cinder and my heart did explode. May the glass slipper always fit indeed!

  16. What an awesome line up for an author event! I haven't gotten my hands on Fracture yet, but Cinder has been my favorite read of the year thus far. I'm really curious about Trafficked, seems like a heavy book, but potentially very good.
